About Summit

Welcome to the 3rd Iran Petrochemical Value Chain Summit (IPS) “Technology & Investment” (Methanol, Ethylene, Propylene, Aromatics), organized by IICIC under patronage of National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC), taking place on 12-14 July, 2025 at Research Institute of Petroleum Industry International Conference Center in Tehran.

In today's intensely competitive global landscape, efficient resource utilization and effective competitive strategies are paramount. Companies strive to maximize profits while minimizing production costs, leading to a focus on optimizing the production process, a complex chain transforming raw materials into finished goods.

The traditional global value chain model, where production was fragmented across different regions, is evolving. Developing nations now aim to complete the entire value chain within their borders to enhance their global trade position. This involves optimizing human resources, infrastructure, and energy, creating jobs, and overcoming technological limitations to produce final products for both export and domestic consumption.

Significant investments in upstream industries and infrastructure have created opportunities for downstream development, requiring less capital for high value-added products. Events like the "Development of the Petrochemical Value Chain" play a crucial role in identifying existing challenges, highlighting opportunities, and providing actionable solutions. Detailed challenge identification is the foundation for effective solutions, with ongoing monitoring and evaluation at future conferences ensuring progress towards achieving strategic objectives.

This summit aims to introduce the available opportunities and explain the current situation of petrochemical value chain industries, review and present the roadmap and investors guide to new opportunities.

The 3rd IPS, serves as a vital platform for industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders committed to advancing the downstream petrochemical sectors. Our mission is to foster dialogue, share knowledge, and drive transformative solutions that address the challenges and opportunities facing this dynamic industry. As a hub for insights and inspiration, we bring together a diverse community from across the globe ranging from manufacturers and suppliers to researchers and policymakers. Here, you will find cutting-edge discussions on technological advancements, sustainability practices, regulatory developments, investment and market trends.

Join us as we explore the future of the petrochemical downstream industries, working towards a more sustainable and resilient framework that benefits not only our businesses but also the communities we serve. Together, we can innovate, collaborate, and lead the way in shaping a prosperous future

The 3rd IPS, also offers a unique opportunity for companies to introduce their products, technologies and services related petrochemical value chain industries. For this purpose, several halls have been set up for 45 minutes' “business promotion sessions” and interactive discussions to promote interesting subjects and services directly to potential customers

On the sideline of the summit, an exhibition will be held where exhibitors have the opportunity to present their products and services and capabilities.

Explore our Summit, participate in discussions, connect and network with industry peers as we embark on this journey towards excellence.
